Immergas Boiler Remote Controls
Immergas boiler remote controls are designed for room-based management of the heating system, temperature programming and more precise adjustment of boiler operating modes. Unlike basic ON/OFF thermostats, this category includes modulating controllers that exchange operating information with the boiler control board. A compatible controller allows the user to manage room temperature, heating operation and supported domestic hot-water parameters without accessing the boiler itself. A modulating Immergas controller does more than start and stop the boiler. It considers the difference between the measured room temperature and the user-selected setpoint to help adjust boiler output and heating-flow temperature more accurately. This operating principle is intended to reduce room-temperature fluctuations, provide steadier comfort and limit unnecessary boiler start-stop cycles. The category can include models such as Immergas CAR V2 3.021395, Super CAR 3.016577, MINI CRD 3.020167, the earlier ARC/Comando Amico Remoto 3.011236 and the 3.020358 controller for high-power VICTRIX boilers. These devices differ in their functions, electronic communication protocols and compatible boiler ranges. CAR V2 supports weekly programming, modulating temperature control, summer and winter modes, Comfort and Economy temperature levels, a holiday programme, frost protection and display of boiler fault codes. Super CAR was developed primarily for Zeus Superior, Victrix Superior and compatible Hercules models equipped with Superior-series electronics. In addition to room temperature, this controller can display relative humidity and an approximate weather trend based on atmospheric-pressure measurements. MINI CRD is a more compact control solution suitable for compatible Immergas boilers, including EOLO STAR. It is intended for single-zone systems and connects to the boiler through a non-polarised two-core cable. The earlier ARC 3.011236 is commonly known in the market as the “older Zeus remote”. ARC supports weekly scheduling, Comfort and Economy temperature levels, modulating or ON/OFF operation and boiler diagnostics. The Immergas 3.020358 controller was developed for individually installed high-power boilers such as VICTRIX 50/75/90/115. It provides modulating control and remote programming in heating systems with a single flow-temperature level. A separate cascade and zone controller is required when several boilers operate in cascade or when the installation contains different temperature zones. Most Immergas remote controls connect to the boiler using a two-core cable and receive their power from the boiler control board. Depending on the model, the polarity of the conductors may need to be observed. Cable type, conductor cross-section, maximum length and connection terminals must be selected according to the technical instructions for the specific controller and boiler. A controller must not be selected solely by the Immergas or Zeus name shown on the boiler. The control board and communication system can differ between production generations of the same range. Correct selection requires verification of the complete boiler designation, product code, generation, control board and number of heating zones. Electrical connection and initial commissioning should be completed by a qualified Immergas service technician.
