Immergas Super CAR 3.016577 is a modulating controller that combines the functions of a boiler control panel and a weekly programmable room thermostat in one device. It was developed primarily for Immergas boilers equipped with Superior-series electronics. Manufacturer documentation identifies compatible models from the Zeus Superior 24/28/32 kW, Victrix Superior and Hercules families among its main applications.Super CAR measures room temperature, creates a weekly schedule using Comfort and Economy temperature levels and helps modulate boiler output according to the actual heating demand in the room. When used with an outdoor temperature sensor, the heating-water temperature can be adjusted according to the selected heating curve and outdoor conditions. In a correctly designed system, these functions are intended to provide steadier room temperature and more rational energy use.The large LCD can display room temperature, central-heating and domestic hot-water temperatures, the current operating mode, day of the week, time and fault codes received from a compatible boiler. Super CAR also measures relative indoor humidity and can show an approximate weather trend based on data from its built-in atmospheric-pressure sensor. The user can select standby, summer, winter, automatic or manual operation and adjust supported heating and hot-water parameters.The controller is powered directly by the boiler control board and does not require separate batteries. It is connected through a two-core cable with the correct polarity. The maximum cable length is 50 metres and the permitted conductor cross-section is 0.5–1.5 mm². After at least two hours of charging, programmed data can be retained for approximately eight hours if the power supply is interrupted.

Super CAR can operate with certain Zeus and Avio kW models at the level of basic functions, but not all information and indicators may be available. For example, the instantaneous power indicator and some temperature values may not appear with different boiler electronics. Therefore, “for Zeus” does not mean automatic compatibility with every Zeus generation. The exact boiler model and control-board version must be verified in the service documentation. Whether an outdoor sensor is included in the package must also be confirmed from the actual packaging and supply list.
