UTFS 410 Heat Recovery Unit

The UTFS 410 Heat Recovery Unit is positioned in the approximately 4000 m³/h airflow class for higher-capacity commercial, public and other engineered ventilation applications. In systems handling large volumes of conditioned air, recovering part of the energy from the exhaust stream can help reduce the additional HVAC load created by outdoor-air ventilation. The UTFS ThermoFresh series uses an aluminium cross-flow plate heat exchanger, with the manufacturer stating heat-recovery efficiency of up to 60% across the series depending on operating conditions. Six-stage airflow control provides flexibility for different ventilation demands. The control platform supports Modbus RTU communication with Building Management Systems, while optional configurations can include CO₂-based air-quality control, Wi-Fi access, bypass dampers and additional heating or cooling sections. Selection of a high-capacity unit such as the UTFS 410 should be based on calculated airflow, duct resistance, external static pressure and the complete ventilation-system design.
