UTFS 160 Heat Recovery Unit
UTFS 160 Heat Recovery Unit
The UTFS 160 Heat Recovery Unit is designed for balanced ventilation applications in the approximately 1500 m³/h airflow class. It combines fresh-air supply and exhaust-air removal while recovering part of the thermal energy that would otherwise be lost with the extracted air. The UTFS ThermoFresh platform uses an aluminium cross-flow plate heat exchanger, helping reduce the additional heating and cooling demand associated with ventilation. The manufacturer specifies six-stage airflow control across the UTFS series and heat-recovery efficiency of up to 60% depending on operating conditions. Filtration is incorporated into the system to support indoor air quality, while the casing is designed to provide maintenance access to key components such as fans, filters and the heat exchanger. The factory control platform can communicate with Building Management Systems through Modbus RTU, making UTFS equipment suitable for integration into broader building-control strategies.
