Giersch MK3.1-ZM-L-N-SD is an industrial dual-fuel burner designed for high-capacity commercial and industrial boiler plants. It can operate with natural gas or light heating oil, making it suitable for installations where fuel-supply reliability is essential.

Fuel selection can be changed manually at the burner or through a remote changeover system. If the gas supply is interrupted or fuel costs change, the installation can be switched to heating-oil operation. This capability helps maintain continuous heat supply in factories, hospitals, hotels, large residential complexes and central boiler plants.

In gas operation, the burner supports two-stage sliding or modulating output control. In heating-oil operation, it works with two-stage control. Modulating gas operation adjusts the burner output according to current heat demand, helping reduce temperature fluctuations and unnecessary starts.

The MK3.1-ZM-L-N-SD version has an oil pump installed directly on the burner. The SD designation indicates a star-delta motor starter, which helps reduce the initial electrical load during motor start-up.

A pressure-stable fan and precision mixing system ensure efficient mixing of fuel and combustion air. The gas train is supplied as a factory-assembled and leak-tested unit. A gas filter is included as standard equipment.
