Giersch R30-AE Single-Stage Oil Burner

Giersch R30-AE is a single-stage forced-draught oil burner designed for commercial, residential and medium-capacity boiler systems. It operates with light heating oil EL complying with DIN 51603.

The burner covers an output range of 95–273 kW. At an assumed boiler efficiency of 92%, the corresponding boiler-output range is approximately 87–251 kW. The model is suitable for residential complexes, administrative buildings, production facilities, warehouses and medium-sized boiler rooms.

R30-AE operates at a single selected output and does not provide flame modulation or a separate second output stage. The AE designation identifies a start-up relief system that reduces the load during ignition.

During start-up, oil-pump pressure is initially limited to approximately 12 bar. After flame stabilisation, the pump changes to its main operating pressure of approximately 15 bar. This provides a more controlled transition to full output and helps reduce ignition impact.

The pressure-stable fan and precision mixing system provide the required mixture of fuel and combustion air. The flame is monitored by a QRB photoelectric sensor, while ignition and safety functions are managed by the LMO24 burner-control unit.
