Giersch MG10/2-M-L-N-LN is a modulating Low NOx forced-draught gas burner with an output range of 125–530 kW. It is designed for boilers, hot-water generators and compatible commercial or industrial heating equipment operating on natural gas.
The M designation identifies modulating operation, N indicates the natural-gas version and LN refers to the low-emission Low NOx design. Modulating control adjusts burner output according to the actual heat demand of the system.
When heat demand decreases, the burner reduces its output; when demand increases, output rises progressively. This reduces burner starts, pre-purge losses and start-up emissions while supporting stable boiler-water or process-temperature control.
The MG-LN series uses optimised airflow, a pressure-stable fan and a precision mixing system to maintain a consistent gas-to-air ratio. Its star-shaped mixing head is designed to reduce nitrogen-oxide emissions.
The MG10/2-LN is designed to meet EN 676 emission class 3 requirements. Giersch states a NOx limit of no more than 80 mg/kWh under the applicable test conditions.
Automatic burner management monitors ignition, flame presence and connected air and gas safety devices. A swivelling burner housing provides convenient access to the mixing head, ignition electrodes and service components.
