Midea M2OH-14HFN8-Q is a Multi Split inverter outdoor unit designed to operate up to two compatible indoor air-conditioning units from a single outdoor system. It is particularly suitable for apartments, private homes, offices and other residential or commercial applications where two rooms require separate climate control while only one outdoor unit is installed on the building façade.
The system provides a nominal cooling capacity of 4.10 kW / approximately 14,000 BTU/h and a nominal heating capacity of 4.40 kW. Cooling capacity can modulate from 1.47 to 4.98 kW, while heating ranges from 1.61 to 4.69 kW. Seasonal cooling efficiency is rated at SEER 6.9 with an A++ energy class. The inverter system regulates compressor operation according to actual demand rather than relying only on repeated on/off operation.
Two refrigerant circuits are provided for the connected indoor units. Liquid piping is 2 × Ø6.35 mm, while gas piping is 2 × Ø9.52 mm. Maximum combined piping length is 40 metres, and the maximum piping length for one indoor unit is 25 metres. Maximum elevation difference is 10 m with the outdoor unit above the indoor units and 15 m when it is below them.
The outdoor unit measures 805 × 330 × 554 mm and weighs approximately 32 kg. Maximum outdoor airflow is 2100 m³/h, maximum listed sound pressure is 55 dB(A), and the unit uses a rotary compressor. Power supply is 220–240 V / 50 Hz / single phase, making it suitable for standard residential electrical installations.
The M2OH-14HFN8-Q uses R32 refrigerant, with a factory charge of 1.1 kg. Official operating limits are -15°C to +50°C for cooling and -15°C to +24°C for heating.
