Midea M4OE-28HFN8-Q is a Multi Split DC Inverter outdoor unit designed to operate up to four compatible indoor air-conditioning units from a single outdoor system. It provides a practical solution for houses, apartments, villas, offices and commercial properties where several rooms require climate control while minimising the number of outdoor units installed on the building façade. Compatible indoor units of different types and capacities can be combined according to the approved Midea Multi Split configurations.
Nominal cooling capacity is 8.21 kW, approximately 28,000 BTU/h, while nominal heating capacity is 8.79 kW. Inverter operation allows cooling capacity to modulate from 2.05 to 9.85 kW and heating capacity from 2.34 to 10.55 kW. Seasonal cooling efficiency is rated at SEER 7.0 and energy class A++, while average-climate heating performance is rated at SCOP 4.0 and A+.
The outdoor unit provides four refrigerant circuits. Liquid piping is 4 × Ø6.35 mm, while the gas side uses 3 × Ø9.52 mm plus 1 × Ø12.7 mm. Maximum combined equivalent piping length is 80 metres, and a single indoor-unit branch can extend up to 35 metres. The recommended minimum individual branch length is 3 metres. Maximum elevation difference can reach 15 metres depending on the position of the outdoor unit.
