Formül PP-R couplings are used to join polypropylene pipes of the same outside diameter in a straight line. They are fundamental connection components for hot and cold water, heating and technical-water pipework.

A broad size range makes it possible to select a suitable coupling for both internal residential lines and larger distribution mains. The fitting is heat-fused to the pipe and forms a clean, continuous route when installed correctly.

Selection should take account of pipe outside diameter, operating temperature, pressure class and the intended service. The coupling size must match the pipe exactly; a reducer should be chosen when two different diameters need to be connected.

Before fusion, pipe and fitting ends should be clean, dry and cut square. Following the manufacturer’s heating and cooling times helps create a strong joint without restricting the internal flow area.

Formül PP-R couplings are practical for new installations, line extensions and replacement of damaged sections. Using compatible pipes and fittings within one system supports dependable assembly and long service life.
