Midea MCD1-36HRN1-R / MOU1-36HN1-R is a 36,000 BTU On/Off cassette air-conditioning system intended for offices, restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, showrooms and other medium-to-large commercial interiors. The cassette chassis is recessed into the suspended ceiling, leaving mainly the decorative panel visible in the occupied space.

The system provides 10.56 kW cooling and 11.14 kW heating, with 3.60 kW nominal electrical input in both operating modes. It uses a fixed-speed On/Off GMCC Rotary compressor rather than inverter technology and operates with R410A refrigerant.

Its 360° airflow design distributes conditioned air broadly around the room. Midea also specifies a high-performance “3D Screw” fan design capable of delivering airflow effectively from installations as high as approximately 4.5 metres.

The integrated drain pump can lift condensate by up to 750 mm. A two-digit LED display, optional KJR-120C(1) wired controller and dry-contact alarm output are also provided. Side ducting can redirect part of the treated airflow to an adjacent room, while an Ø80 mm connection allows a fresh-air duct to be introduced into the cassette chassis.

The standard T-MBQ4-04A1 panel measures 950 × 55 × 950 mm and weighs 6 kg. The MCD1 series can alternatively use the optional T-MBQ4-04AWD Breezeless panel, which provides individual louvre control when used with the separately required RM-12F controller.
