Midea MCD-24FNXD0 / MOU-24FN1-QD0 is a 24,000 BTU inverter cassette air-conditioning system designed for recessed installation in suspended ceilings. Most of the indoor chassis remains concealed above the ceiling, leaving only the decorative air-distribution panel visible. This makes the system suitable for offices, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, showrooms and other commercial interiors.
The system operates across a cooling capacity range of 1.20–8.21 kW and a heating range of 1.20–8.65 kW, with a nominal output of approximately 7.0 kW for this capacity class. Cooling seasonal efficiency is rated at SEER 6.1 and Energy Class A++.
Its cassette design provides 360° air distribution, allowing conditioned air to spread broadly from ceiling level. Indoor airflow ranges from approximately 1100 to 1450 m³/h, while sound pressure ranges from 39 to 46 dB(A), depending on fan speed.
An integrated condensate pump can lift drainage water by up to 750 mm. The system also supports Fresh Air connection, Auto Restart, automatic defrosting, refrigerant leakage detection and Night Mode. Wired control, centralised control and a Wi-Fi module are available as optional control solutions.
The MOU-24FN1-QD0 outdoor unit uses R410A refrigerant and a GMCC rotary inverter compressor. Refrigerant piping can extend up to 50 metres, with a maximum elevation difference of 25 metres. Outdoor operating limits extend from -15°C to +50°C in cooling and -15°C to +24°C in heating.
