Midea MCD-48FNXD0-R / MOU-48FN8D0-R is a 48,000 BTU Full DC Inverter cassette air-conditioning system designed for larger offices, restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, showrooms, business centres and other commercial applications. The cassette chassis is concealed above the suspended ceiling, leaving only the decorative air-distribution panel visible.

Official Midea data for the corresponding 48 class platform specifies a cooling range of 4.76–14.58 kW and heating range of 3.93–16.77 kW. Full DC Inverter control allows system output to adapt to changing thermal demand. Cooling seasonal efficiency is rated at SEER 6.10 and Energy Class A++.
