Midea MCA3-12HRN1-Q / MOU-12HN1-Q is a ceiling cassette air-conditioning system designed for applications where efficient air distribution and discreet installation are required. Most of the indoor unit is concealed above the suspended ceiling, leaving the decorative cassette panel visible inside the room. This makes the system particularly suitable for offices, shops, restaurants, hotels and other commercial interiors.

According to Midea's official specifications, the MCA3-12HRN1-Q delivers 12,000 BTU/h of cooling and 13,000 BTU/h of heating. Cooling input is 1095 W and heating input is 1180 W. Cooling performance is rated at EER 3.21 W/W with Energy Class A. The system operates with R410A refrigerant and supports refrigerant piping up to 15 metres.

A major feature of the MCA3 series is its 360° airflow panel, designed to distribute conditioned air broadly from ceiling level. Midea also officially lists Low Noise operation together with Night and Dry modes for this model.

In the specified configuration, the integrated condensate pump can lift drainage water by up to 500 mm, while compatibility with the optional KJR-90A wired controller provides convenient wall-mounted system control. The provision for an additional supply-air duct also gives HVAC designers greater flexibility when adapting the cassette system to the layout of the room.
