DAB KPS 30/16

DAB KPS 30/16 is a compact peripheral centrifugal electric pump designed to generate relatively high head in small domestic and technical water installations. Typical applications include household water supply, small garden irrigation systems, filling and draining cisterns and selected light industrial uses. The KPS configuration uses a radial suction arrangement.

The KPS 30/16 has a rated motor output of 0.37 kW / 0.5 HP. It is available in single-phase 1×230 V and three-phase 3×230–400 V versions. According to DAB's official performance table, the KPS 30/16 develops approximately 32.5 m maximum head at zero flow, 31 m at 5 l/min, 25 m at 10 l/min and 17.5 m at 20 l/min. The 84 m figure published on the general product page refers to the combined KPS/KPF family and should therefore not be presented as the maximum head of the KPS 30/16 itself.

The pump body is made from cast iron and the impeller from brass. The shaft is manufactured from AISI 416 stainless steel, with a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. The closed asynchronous motor uses external ventilation and permanently lubricated oversized ball bearings designed for low noise and durability.

Maximum working pressure for KPS 30/16 is 6 bar. Suction and discharge connections are both 1" G. Installation is fixed and horizontal. Motor protection is IP44 and insulation class is F.

The pump is intended for clean, chemically neutral liquids without solid or abrasive particles. Liquid temperature is permitted from 0°C to +35°C for domestic applications and from -10°C to +50°C for other approved applications, with a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C.
