DAB JET is a self-priming centrifugal water pump designed for domestic water supply, drawing water from wells, garden irrigation, small agricultural installations and selected light industrial applications. Its hydraulic design incorporates an ejector, diffuser and Venturi system to provide strong self-priming performance, including operating conditions where a limited amount of air may be present in the suction line.

According to DAB's current product information, the JET family offers flow rates of up to 80 l/min, equivalent to approximately 4.8 m³/h, with head up to 62 metres and self-priming capability from depths of up to 9 metres. Maximum working pressure is 8 bar, while maximum pumped-liquid temperature is +40°C. Actual hydraulic performance depends on the selected JET model and operating point.

The standard DAB JET uses a cast-iron pump body and a die-cast aluminium motor support. The impeller, diffuser, Venturi tube and sand guard are manufactured from technopolymer. The rotor shaft is AISI 416 stainless steel, while the pump incorporates a stainless-steel wear ring and carbon/ceramic mechanical seal.

The electric motor is a closed asynchronous design with external air cooling. Oversized permanently lubricated ball bearings are used to support quiet operation and long service life. Single-phase versions incorporate thermo-amperometric protection and a permanently connected capacitor. Motor protection is IP44, terminal-box protection is IP55, and insulation class is F.

DAB JET is intended for clean, chemically neutral liquids without solid or abrasive contaminants. For domestic applications the official technical data specifies a liquid-temperature range from 0°C to +35°C, while other suitable applications allow temperatures up to +40°C. The pump is designed for fixed horizontal installation.
