DAB MICRA HS is a high-speed multistage submersible electric pump designed for boreholes with a diameter of 3 inches or larger. Its compact construction makes it suitable for lifting and distributing water from narrow boreholes, tanks and cisterns.
The pump can be used in domestic and industrial water-supply systems, for filling pressure vessels and water-storage tanks, pressure-boosting and constant-pressure systems, as well as garden and agricultural irrigation installations.
The MICRA HS series provides a flow rate from 1 to 5.5 m³/h and a maximum head of up to 90 metres. The maximum motor supply frequency is 110 Hz, corresponding to a rotational speed of approximately 6300 rpm.
Electronic speed control adjusts the rotational speed of the pump according to changes in water demand. This helps maintain more stable pressure and makes MICRA HS suitable for residential buildings, commercial facilities and irrigation systems with variable water consumption.
The multistage centrifugal hydraulic system features Noryl impellers and self-lubricating polyacetal diffusers. The pump casing, shaft, strainer and cable guard are manufactured from stainless steel. The base support and delivery head are made from brass, with a non-return valve incorporated into the delivery head.
The pump is primarily designed for vertical installation. For horizontal installation, the minimum required load on the thrust-bearing assembly must be ensured.
