Dab KDN

DAB KDN is a standardised single-stage centrifugal pump range designed for water supply, HVAC, industrial, agricultural and general liquid-transfer applications. It is particularly suited to installations requiring high flow rates and reliable circulation, including hot-water circulation in heating systems and chilled-water circulation in air-conditioning and refrigeration plants.

According to DAB's current official specifications, the KDN range delivers flow rates of up to 470 m³/h and head values of up to 143 metres. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar / 1600 kPa, with a maximum of 10 bar specified for DN 200 configurations. The permitted pumped-liquid temperature range extends from -10°C to +140°C, providing considerable flexibility for both heating and cooling applications.

KDN pumps can be coupled to 2-pole or 4-pole electric motors through a standard or spacer-type flexible coupling. The pump and motor can be mounted together on a formed metal base according to UNI EN 23661. Installation is normally horizontal. This separate pump-and-motor configuration is particularly appropriate for professional plant rooms and industrial installations where access, maintenance and component replacement are important.
