DAB EURO 1 is a multistage horizontal centrifugal water pump intended for domestic water supply, pressure boosting, garden irrigation and general clean-water transfer applications. The DAB EURO range combines a multistage hydraulic system with an asynchronous continuous-duty motor and is designed for applications where reliable water delivery and useful pressure performance are required. DAB also identifies quiet operation as one of the characteristics of the EURO series.

According to official DAB technical data, the EURO range operates from 10 to 120 litres per minute, equivalent to a maximum flow of approximately 7.2 m³/h, and can provide a head of up to 72 metres. Maximum operating pressure is 8 bar / 800 kPa. These performance characteristics make the range suitable for applications including residential water distribution, pressurisation, transferring water from storage tanks and irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas.

The pump incorporates a cast-iron pump body and a die-cast aluminium motor support. The impellers and diffusers are manufactured from technopolymer, while the rotor shaft is made from AISI 304 stainless steel. A carbon/ceramic mechanical seal is used, and the electric motor is an asynchronous continuous-duty design. These construction features are intended to provide dependable operation in clean-water pumping systems.

DAB specifies the EURO range for clean liquids free from solid and abrasive contaminants. The pumped liquid should be non-viscous, non-aggressive, non-crystallised and chemically neutral, with characteristics close to those of water. The permitted liquid temperature is 0°C to +35°C for domestic use and up to +40°C for other applications. Installation can be fixed or portable, with the pump positioned horizontally.
