Cassette Fan Coil Units
Cassette fan coil units are hydronic indoor terminals designed for connection to a chiller-based or central heating and cooling system. The main body is concealed above a suspended ceiling, leaving only the decorative air-distribution panel visible inside the room. Depending on the model, conditioned air is delivered in one or four directions to support balanced temperature distribution throughout the occupied area. Compact MKD units are suited to standard ceiling modules, while the MKA range provides higher-airflow options for larger spaces and demanding HVAC projects.
Two-pipe units use the same water circuit for seasonal cooling or heating operation. Four-pipe models have separate chilled-water and hot-water circuits, allowing different building zones to respond more flexibly to changing thermal requirements. Midea cassette fan coil units combine multi-speed air delivery, an efficient heat exchanger and a dedicated condensate drainage arrangement. Final selection should be based on calculated room load, required airflow, available ceiling space, pipe configuration, water conditions and the planned control system.
