The Iceland Ice Cream Factory project incorporates a comprehensive mechanical, air-conditioning and ventilation solution for a production facility of approximately 750 m². In an ice cream manufacturing environment, maintaining suitable indoor temperatures and effective air circulation across production, staff and supporting areas is an important part of the building's engineering infrastructure. A Gree China VRF system is used for air conditioning and temperature control throughout the facility. VRF technology allows different zones to be conditioned according to their individual requirements and enables the system to respond flexibly to changing thermal loads within the building. For mechanical ventilation, Blauberg Germany fans are incorporated into the project to provide the required air movement, extract used air and support effective air exchange across the relevant areas of the factory. The combination of the Gree VRF system and Blauberg ventilation equipment creates an integrated mechanical infrastructure in which indoor temperature control and ventilation operate as complementary systems. In an industrial production facility, proper coordination between air conditioning and ventilation contributes to a more controlled indoor environment for personnel while also supporting the specific climate requirements of different operational areas.
