DAB GENIX & GENIX WL

DAB GENIX and GENIX WL are automatic wastewater collection and lifting stations designed for installations where wastewater from sanitary fixtures cannot reach the main sewer system by gravity. The unit collects wastewater from toilets and other bathroom fixtures, processes it through an integrated macerating system and pumps it through a relatively small discharge pipe towards the nearest gravity-fed drain. This makes GENIX particularly useful when installing an additional bathroom in basements, renovated properties or other areas where conventional gravity drainage is impractical.

Standard GENIX models feature a front WC connection. GENIX WL differs by using a side toilet connection specifically intended for wall-hung sanitary fixtures or installations where there is insufficient space behind the WC. The GENIX 110 can serve a toilet plus one additional fixture such as a washbasin, while GENIX 130 can accommodate the toilet plus three additional fixtures such as a washbasin, shower, bidet or bathtub.

GENIX 110, GENIX 130, Comfort and WL versions operate on a 1×230 V, 50 Hz electrical supply. The current technical sheet lists maximum input power of 0.49 kW, rated motor output of 0.32 kW and nominal current of 2.3 A. Operation is automatic and the protection class is IP44. The latest DAB technical documentation specifies a pumped-liquid temperature range of 0°C to +50°C for GENIX and GENIX WL, with wastewater applications covered by EN 12050-3.

A nickel-plated stainless steel macerating device contributes to durable wastewater processing. The installation kit includes adaptable pipe connections, quick-coupling components and integrated non-return valves. Maintenance has also been designed for accessibility: in the event of blockage, the motor assembly can be accessed externally without removing the complete unit, helping make non-routine servicing cleaner and easier.

For installations where acoustic comfort is particularly important, GENIX Comfort versions incorporate additional noise-reducing construction.
