Formül Standard PP-R Pipes

Formül standard PP-R pipes are plumbing products designed for hot and cold water installations in apartment buildings, houses, villas, offices, hotels, commercial properties and various engineering projects. This category includes Formül standard PP-R pipes in the PN20 pressure class and a wide selection of diameters.Standard PP-R pipes have a homogeneous PP-R construction without a fiber or metal reinforcement layer. They are therefore different from Formül red fiber composite pipes and are presented in a separate product category. Formül standard PP-R pipes can be used for indoor water branches, kitchen and bathroom connections, property inlet lines, floor distribution, vertical water lines and technical-room installations.The category includes Formül PP-R PN20 pipes in 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90 and 110 mm diameters. Smaller sizes are generally selected for indoor branches and individual water points, while larger sizes are used for building mains, central water distribution and technical projects requiring higher flow rates. According to the manufacturer’s product table, all models are supplied as 4-metre pipes.PP-R is not subject to the internal rust and corrosion associated with metal pipes. The smooth internal surface supports consistent water movement and helps limit unnecessary flow resistance. Its lightweight construction also makes transportation, cutting and installation more convenient. Formül PP-R pipes are joined to compatible PP-R fittings by socket-fusion welding to create a complete and sealed piping system.Because standard PP-R pipes do not contain a fiber composite reinforcement layer, thermal expansion must be considered in hot-water installations. Support spacing, fixed and sliding points, routing and expansion compensation should be determined according to the project conditions.PN20 is a nominal pressure classification and does not mean that the pipe can operate continuously at 20 bar at every temperature. Permitted operating conditions depend on water temperature, system application, expected service period and technical design requirements.
